Alaska Tour And Travel Park Connection BusThe Denali Whittier Bus is the only scheduled transportation option available between Whittier and Denali National Park with a single days travel time, enabling you to enjoy a pre or post cruise tour of Denali Park. Other transportation options require 2 days travel time. This is a 300-mile bus trip between Denali and Anchorage and Whitter.

The 60 mile Anchorage to Whittier portion of this service runs only on cruise ship arrival and departure days and is a great Whittier transportation option for cruise ship passengers. The bus service between Anchorage and Denali runs daily.

The trip between Whittier and Anchorage travels the spectacular and scenic Seward Highway, a National Scenic Byway and follows the Turnagain Arm, a body of water featuring the world's second highest tides at over 30 feet. You'll pass through Portage Valley and the 2 mile long Anton Anderson tunnel. The section between Anchorage and Denali travels the George Parks Highway and depending on the weather features some of the best views of Mt. McKinley in the state. Also, on most days a one-half hour stop will be made at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge allowing great views of Mt. McKinley, weather permitting, and the ability to purchase "to-go" coffee, soda and snacks.

The southbound buses arrive in Anchorage at the Anchorage Museum at approximately 1:30 pm. The northbound buses arrive around noon. The Museum features a fabulous cafe if you would like to enjoy lunch on your own. At 3:00 pm board the bus to continue your journey north to Denali or south towards Whittier. Northbound bus arrives in Denali at 9:00 pm and the southbound bus arrives in Whittier at 5:00 pm.
