Seward Bear Glacier Wataer TaxiBear Glacier water taxi transportation service to Bear Glacier and Bear Glacier Retreat for sea kayakers, campers, hikers and bear hunters. Bear Glacier is located 30 miles south of Seward on the west side of Resurrection Bay.

Bear Glacier is the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park and calves into a large lake separated from the Pacific Ocean by a narrow glacier moraine a creating protected sea kayaking paradise.

Bear Glacier Ice BergKayak shuttles into Bear Glacier require that we go in on the high tide. Departure times from Seward are about 1 hours before the high tide. Please call for departure times. Please note, you need to plan on arriving at the Seward Small Boat harbor early. It is important that we depart on time so our arrival time at Bear Glacier is at high tide. If you are late arriving at the harbor for the departure time we will consider this as a cancelation and 100% cancellation fee will be charged. No exceptions will be made.

Tour Rates
Rates are based on a minimum of two passengers. Solo travelers may be able to piggyback with another trip to meet the 2 person minimum. Please call.

One Way: $160 each plus tax
Round Trip: $220 each plus tax

Less than 10 days notice a 20% cancellation fee. Cancelation day of departure or late arrival at harbor 100% cancellation fee.
