Kongakut River - 10 day Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Rafting Safari. Explore Alaska's remote Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) by raft on the "river of caribou". Our trip coincides with the annual migration of the 130,000-strong Porcupine caribou herd and passes through some of the world's most pristine wilderness.
Lake Creek - 7 day Whitewater Rafting and Fishing Adventure. Our favorite fly-in wilderness adventure river, great combination exciting whitewater and great Alaska fishing. Lake Creek offers almost continuous Class II/III whitewater with a few Class IV rapids, five species of salmon, rainbow trout and arctic grayling.
Chulitna River - 4 day Denali Raft Adventure. An excellent family adventure and sampling of Alaska's best wilderness and geography at a casual pace. We travel through Denali State Park, upper Susitna Valley and take out near Trapper Creek, a historic gold mining town. |

The perfect Alaska Tour or Cruise Ship Add-on
Departing from Anchorage or cruise docks in Seward or Whittier
With this combo trip, you'll be met right at the dock of your cruise ship or your Anchorage hotel (pickup included) and arrive at our lodge few hours later, and be off to view the bears right after lunch. This exciting shore excursion ends with a return to Anchorage or the cruise dock in Seward or Whittier in the afternoon of your last day.
Few locations in Alaska can match the grandeur of this private wilderness fly-in bear viewing camp in Lake Clark National Park. Your bush plane will fly by glaciered volcanoes and land you at the edge of an "Alaskan savanna" that is so perfect for bears that it has been proclaimed a "critical bear habitat".
"Alaska Bear Camp" was the base camp for Disney's new nature movie "Bears". This high end glamping tent camp in Lake Clark national park is the ultimate in Alaska wildlife viewing.Unlike many bear viewing venues, 50 resident bears are present all summer at our fly in wilderness lodge.
Day 1. Fly-in to Lake Clark National Park coastline for great bear viewing and return in the evening to our Kenai River Lodge. Day 2. Our expert, licensed guides target the Kenai River's world famous salmon or trout on your guided fishing charter. Depending upon season and the dates you visit, you'll be fishing for Kings, Silvers, Sockeyes or Pink salmon. Return to the lodge at 6:00PM in time for happy hour and dinner. Enjoy fishing, paddling or one of our other evening activities. Day 3. You can choose a second fishing charter, opt to take a wilderness hike to a waterfall to see salmon leaping or enjoy a day of calm water paddling to photograph wildlife in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Choose your favorite, and make the trip your own. Return to the lodge at noon. Checkout time is 2:30, and return to Anchorage, (or to Seward or Whittier if you are on a South bound cruise).
