2017 TOUR DATES
Best time to visit Denali is June 6 - August 31

Daily Departures
May 20 - September 15

Tours departing before June 4 may be limited - how far the park bus tour goes into the park depends on how much snow Alaska received over the winter and how far the National Park has cleared the snow off the road. The park road is not maintained over the winter. To see the wildlife that Denali is famous for and for a chance to see Mt. Denali (Mt. McKinley) you need to get into the park about 40 miles. We cannot guarantee that you will get into the park this far if you choose an early departure before June 4th . Also many of the other Denali tour activities may not be open prior to June.

Many of the optional park tour activities shut down after August 31. The last tour buses going all the way to end of the park road stop running at the end of August.
