Aialik (eye-Al-ick) is an Alutiiq (coastal Eskimo) word. The translation for Aialik means "eerie" or "dangerous." In Kenai Fjords National Park there are 3 places named Aialik, Cape Aialik, Aialik Glacier and Aialik Bay.
